AVIATION ENGLISH COURSE
This course serves to equip candidates with a good foundation and understanding of the English language and be able to communicate effectively in the fulfilment of the pilot crew duties.
PRIVATE PILOT LICENCE COURSE (PPL)
This course serves to provide the required aviation knowledge and flight training to candidates who want to obtain a PPL.
Candidates will be taught on PPL ground theory subjects and achieve flight proficiency on a single-engine aircraft.
COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE COURSE (CPL)
This course serves to provide the required aviation knowledge and flight training to candidates who want to obtain a CPL.
Candidates will be taught on CPL ground theory subjects and achieve flight proficiency on single and multi-engine glass cockpit aircraft.
AIRLINE PILOT COMPETENCY COURSE (APCC)
This course serves to prepare fresh Commercial Pilot Licence graduates for entry into airlines training by providing them with the skills, knowledge and cognitive abilities in managing and handling heavy multi-engine commercial jets.
TYPE RATING COURSE (Airbus 320 or
Boeing 737)
This course serves to train CPL candidates to obtain the type rating on the Airbus 320 and Boeing 737 aircraft.
MILITARY PILOT TO COMMERCIAL PILOT CONVERSION
This course serves to provide a smooth and efficient transition for military pilots to become commercial pilots. Candidates will undergo training to attain an FAA ATPL/CPL certification.

Mr. Andy Tan
Director/ Founder of Primus Aviation
As a fighter pilot for 30 years in the RSAF, Andy Tan has clocked more than 4000 flying hours and train many young pilots during his flying tour. He possessed the expertise and experience to deliver a premium learning environment and quality at Primus Aviation. Prior to co-founding Primus, Andy was General Manager at the Singapore Youth Flying Club from 2006 to 2015 and Head Air Plans at Republic of Singapore Air Force HQ prior to his retirement from RSAF, distinguishing himself with an impressive track record in operations, planning and policies, governance, and talent management. As a keen aviator, he has coached and mentored over 1000 student pilots, sharing his insights and experience on how to be a successful pilot and a leader.
Mr. Ian Lim
Director/ Founder of Primus Aviation
Served 31 years in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) as a fighter pilot and retired as the Chief of Staff – Air Staff holding the rank of Brigadier General. He leverages on his organizational skills, industry network and technical expertise to found Primus and provide value added advisory and consultancy services in aviation management, training, security and services. From 2012 to 2015, Ian was President of the Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC). In this role, Ian had guided SYFC to promote aviation in Junior Colleges and Polytechnics as well as train many aspiring students to attain their Private Pilot License.
