Lessons will begin with the origins of flight – literally - Participants will play the role of anthropologists’ as they uncover the beginning of flight, from the first insects to the mighty Pterosaurs and to the evolution of birds.

Participants will learn about the pioneers of flight from its historical beginnings to well into the 19th century and the reasons for these pioneers’ success to take flight and some not so successful ones. Here the participants will play the role as apprentice aeronautical engineers.

Participants will learn the details of flight science - the physics behind it. These lessons can be considered as a precursor to the lessons taught in the school as they are closely developed to marry the school’s syllabi. Concepts like forces, vectors, endurance and time calculation are just some aspects that will be taught.

The participants will put all the knowledge that they have acquired by building a radio-controlled fixed wing aircraft. They will go through the process of Learn, Build and Fly. They will integrate all the lessons learnt into this building project. On top of all the knowledge learnt from; this programme, The Condors will pick up other life skills – Engineering Design and Project Development Life Cycle, Budgeting, Focus and of course fine tune their psychomotor skills.
