Course Objectives:

To prepare freshly graduated CCAR 141 pilots for entry into airlines training by providing them with the required skills, knowledge and attributes in the handling and management of a Category II Airplane (B737-800 or Airbus320). The focus will be on personal and professional competencies conducted on IPT and Fixed-Based Simulator.

Aviation English Training and Assessment
For candidates that are lacking in language proficiency, a 2-week (10 days) training programme consisting of 50 hours of aviation english training has been developed to improve their language proficiency.

- the personal competencies

On skills, candidates would undergo Integrated Part-Task Trainer (IPT) module in the training curriculum to drill them in flight deck familiarization, scan flow patterns and Flight Management System (FMS) operations.

Module 3: Skill -- Fixed-Base Simulator (FBS) Training
During the Fixed Based Simulator (FBS) training, the emphasis will be on airplane manual handling skill, familiarization of normal procedures, flight automation, and manual approach and landing.
